Vocational Service

With the challenging economy, some of those around us could use your support in finding a job, learning a job skill, or for those in high school, understanding what a vocation is all about. If you are in a position at work to offer job shadowing, hand’s on training, or motivation to those about to enter the job marked, you can make a lasting difference in someone else’s life through vocational service. Rotary started in 1905 when a small group of business people go together to create a professional organization. Over the years the business focus naturally evolved into Vocation Service. You can be part of this rich history and keeping the Rotary motto of Service Above Self alive by sharing your professional skills with others.
